The Construction Management Association of America is an industry association dedicated to the practice of professional construction management. CMAA represents more than 16,000 members including federal/state/local government and private sector owners, construction consultants, technology suppliers, academia, and legal organizations all with a common goal: to improve our nation's infrastructure.
With the safety of all our colleagues, friends and families in mind, and mindful of National and state and local guidance and directives, CMAA NCC is announcing changes to our operations over the next several weeks. The spread of COVID-19 is a serious matter that will require close monitoring, community support and all of our help to control. CMAA NCC is doing its part: for at least the next eight weeks CMAA NCC will hold no in person meetings or events.
The following events will be postponed until a later date:
· CMAA NCC Top Golf Fundraiser (originally scheduled for April 9, 2020)
· CMAA NCC Scholarship and Awards Gala (originally scheduled for May 13 ,2020)
We will be reaching out directly to guests who have registered for these events to resolve any issues. We will continue to monitor the situation and any updates will be distributed via email and our social media sites.
All in-person meetings will be cancelled, postponed or converted to teleconferences as required.
The CMAA National conference, Focus20 Conference has been cancelled. See details here.
The good news is that much of our work can continue electronically. Specifically:
· Our Awards portal is still open! Submit your 2019 Project Achievement and CCM of the year awards at this link. You will find a checklist and frequently asked questions to make the process seamless and streamlined. UPDATED DUE DATE: MAY 1, 2020
· Our Owner’s survey is still open. If you represent an owner organization in any capacity, please take ten minutes to complete the survey so we can continue to craft events and solutions that address your pressing needs. UPDATED DUE DATE: MAY 1, 2020
